Extruded board materials must meet the requirements of fire resistance
2022-09-28

The extruded board material must meet the requirements of fire resistance, reach the flame retardant grade according to the design requirements of the building drawings, and use fireproof isolation belt products in appropriate locations. The energy-saving and environmentally friendly insulation board facing layer adopts fluorocarbon coating, which mainly has the advantages of fast durability, good self-cleaning effect and strong anti-corrosion effect; in addition, it can also make various high-end decorations, making the installation application more compliant.

Practice has proved that the insulation effect of 20mm thick XPS extruded board is equivalent to 50mm thick foamed polystyrene and 120mm thick cement perlite. Therefore, this material is currently a better choice for building insulation.

Extruded board must avoid the extrusion of heavy objects, and buffer measures should be taken between materials, so as to better ensure the performance of extruded board and avoid unnecessary losses. But in fact, in addition to its insulation function, it also has the function of moisture resistance and pressure resistance. Using extruded board on the exterior wall of the structure can significantly improve the insulation effect of the structure, achieve the purpose of energy saving, and significantly extend the aging life of the exterior wall of the structure.

The uneven surface of the extruded board should be smoothed with a special grinding trowel, and then the entire wall should be polished. When polishing, the scattered polystyrene chips should be cleaned up with a brush or broom at any time. Because the thermal conductivity of air is very low and it is enclosed in the foam plastic and cannot produce convection, it can achieve good thermal insulation. It is suitable for earthquake-resistant buildings, regardless of the size of the structural load it bears.
