The extruded board has excellent water resistance and moisture resistance during installation. The extruded board has a tight closed-cell structure. The polystyrene molecular structure itself does not absorb water, and there are no gaps on the front and back of the board. Therefore, the extruded board has a very low water absorption rate. After the polystyrene board is fixed, a layer of mesh is covered on the outside of the polystyrene board. Cut the mesh into several pieces according to the length of the wall and fix it on the surface of the polystyrene board with nails. The overlap length of the mesh is not less than 10 cm.


After the installation of the exterior wall insulation material, it feels like wax, has excellent low temperature resistance, good chemical stability, can resist most acids and alkalis (cannot resist acids with oxidizing properties), is insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, has low water absorption, and has excellent electrical insulation properties; extruded board is not only a simple polymer, but also a widely used polymer material. It can be preheated with polystyrene beads. According to the structural characteristics of micro-closed cells, it is mainly used for building wall, roof insulation, composite board insulation, etc., and is divided into expandable EPS board (phenyl board) and continuous extrusion XPS board (extruded board).
