External wall insulation system is an integrated system engineering
2021-08-17

The exterior wall insulation system is a complete system engineering, including design, materials and construction. It not only requires that the quality of insulation materials and supporting materials meet the standards and play their respective performances, but also requires that the design and construction specifications of each part are appropriate, with good compatibility and matching. It is an organic combination of insulation materials and supporting materials.

Base cleaning → measurement, laying, hanging wires → installation of brackets → anchoring special anchors on the base → pasting flip mesh cloth at the opening → plastering and bonding mortar → pasting insulation board (brush interface agent on both sides and side boards) → pressing over mesh cloth → first layer of mesh cloth plastering mortar → anchoring rock wool board → second layer of mesh cloth plastering anti-cracking mortar → finishing paint.

Baseline refers to the initial construction line as the starting point of construction after the construction starts. In the vertical and horizontal directions, the allowable relative position of the four wall graphics remains unchanged. In general, the construction longitudinal baseline should be placed on the top of the building, and the construction horizontal baseline should be placed on the yin and yang corner contour line and the characteristic contour line as the baseline for busy construction.

The insulation board is loose and falls off when the wind is strong. The reason is that the rock wool board is only point-bonded, and there is no corresponding bonding tape around the board. Although the anchor bolts are installed, these anchor bolts do not meet the standards, so the rock wool board cannot be fixed as usual. At the same time, during the construction process, the bonding mortar is not squeezed out to form sufficient bonding force.

The positive wind pressure acting on the external insulation system will cause the insulation board to bend and deform, squeezing the bonding point between the insulation board and the bonding mortar. The negative wind pressure external insulation system has a thrust from the cavity to the external insulation system. When the negative wind pressure is greater than the bonding force between the bonding mortar and the base layer, and the bonding mortar and the insulation board, the external insulation system will fall off.
