Thermosetting polystyrene board has brought us many convenient conditions, providing people with a safe, comfortable, and pleasant living environment. This material is a new type of building insulation board, which is an integrated board for insulation and heat preservation. Taking EPS module cast-in-place concrete shear wall insulation system and CIS composite insulation board cast-in-place concrete insulation system as examples, a comparative analysis is conducted for the construction of thermosetting polystyrene board cast-in-place concrete.
The manufacturer of thermosetting polystyrene board told us that there may be various problems such as splicing during the construction process of thermosetting polystyrene board, and the joints after splicing need to be polished. When using prefabricated blocks for preloading, pressure should be applied first in the middle and then on both sides. The preloading blocks should be placed steadily and gently; When adjusting the position of the preloading block, it should be lifted parallel to the top surface of the insulation board.
During the construction of thermosetting polystyrene board, the process generally involves preparing the base layer, measuring, setting out, sticking and flipping the fiberglass mesh cloth, pasting the polystyrene board, fixing anchor bolts, applying 3-5mm plastering mortar and pressing it into the mesh cloth, and completing the insulation layer.
Attention should also be paid to the flatness of thermosetting polystyrene board, otherwise it will greatly affect its aesthetics. In addition, during the installation of thermosetting polystyrene board, the gap between materials should be as large as possible, as once it is too large, it will affect the flatness. Due to low indicators such as tensile strength and elongation at break of the coating, it cannot be applied to rubber powder polystyrene particle external wall insulation systems.
