The use of thermosetting polystyrene board can make the research and design safer and more reasonable, making the external wall composite insulation system more stable, less prone to detachment, lightweight, reducing the weight of the partition wall on the overall structure, and making the overall structure safer.
The heat cured polystyrene board cast-in-place concrete shear wall insulation system consists of a cast-in-place concrete shear wall structure, EPS insulation module board, EPS insulation board connecting bridge, fixed anchor, hot-dip galvanized steel wire mesh, and outer self compacting concrete protective layer. After the adhesive is applied and reaches the initial setting and drawing state, and the bonding conditions are met, the insulation board can be laid. It is necessary to ensure reliable bonding between the insulation board and the beam surface. After laying, the bottom of the exposed surfaces on both sides should be closely adhered to the beam surface. If there is a gap, bonding must be used.
For the heat cured polystyrene board debris and other floating dust scattered during polishing, they should be cleaned up, and after polishing, the flatness of the board surface should be checked with a 2m ruler and wedge-shaped plug gauge. If the pasting is not standardized, it will affect the insulation performance of the thermosetting polystyrene board in the later stage. Moreover, thermosetting polystyrene board is prone to some problems during pasting, especially the phenomenon of irregular staggered arrangement on the wall, or the phenomenon of the flatness of the board surface exceeding the standard.
The manufacturer of thermosetting polystyrene board stated that there are many details that need to be paid attention to when installing thermosetting polystyrene board. If not paid attention, it will affect the installation effect. Solvents such as benzene and toluene in solvent based exterior wall coating can dissolve expanded polystyrene foam board and thermal insulation material extruded polystyrene foam board, so solvent based coating cannot be used in this type of external insulation system.
