The geothermal insulation board is the insulation board in the geothermal system. The insulation board has multiple closed and stable bubble structures. Most of the heat is transferred to the downward heating pipe through the insulation board to prevent heat loss. Therefore, it has excellent insulation ability. There are EPS boards and XPS boards on the market.

There are three ways of heat transfer in geothermal insulation boards: radiation heat transfer, convection heat transfer and conduction heat transfer. Usually, these three methods occur at the same time. Therefore, from the perspective of heat conduction, radiation, convection and conduction, the use of insulation boards to minimize convection and conduction components will weaken the thermal conductivity effect of the object, that is, improve its insulation ability.

1. When installing the floor insulation board, the floor must be dry. The indoor temperature should not be too high. The ambient humidity should be around 60 degrees.

2. It is strictly forbidden to nail before and after construction to avoid damaging the heating coil.

3. In order to isolate moisture and release moisture from the skirting board, a composite film should be laid before laying the laminate floor.

4. Failure to place the keel will affect heat dissipation and may damage the pipe.

5. Use skirting boards that are thicker than the floor and leave enough expansion joints between the floor and the wall.

6. Floor heating and insulation boards must be installed 24 hours before heating.
