External wall insulation and decoration integrated panel: definition, technical system and application guide in Linyi area
2026-04-13

External wall insulation and decoration integrated panel is an industrialized prefabricated external wall system that integrates insulation, fire prevention, and decoration functions. It has become the mainstream choice for new construction and renovation projects in Linyi area. Its core structure consists of A-level rock wool insulation layer, weather resistant decorative layer (such as fluorocarbon paint, ceramic thin plate), and adhesive anchor composite fixing system, which realizes factory prefabrication and on-site dry installation, greatly shortens the construction period, and improves the stability of project quality.

In the temperate monsoon climate environment of Linyi - with severe cold in winter, humid and hot in summer, and significant annual temperature differences - the system must meet the A-level non combustible standard, and the use of organic insulation materials such as EPS or XPS is strictly prohibited. It is recommended that the anchoring density should not be less than 6 screw in anchor bolts per square meter. For high-rise buildings (>27 meters), it should be increased to more than 8 bolts. The joints must be sealed with silicone weather resistant adhesive to prevent hollowing or water leakage caused by freeze-thaw cycles.

Mainstream brands such as San Ke Shu Na Jin Ban, Dongfang Yuhong Integrated Board, and Jia Bao Li Ceramic Thin Plate System have been widely used in local engineering. Among them, the combination of rock wool core material and fluorocarbon paint finish occupies more than 70% of the market share due to its high cost-effectiveness and strong durability. Compared to the traditional "insulation+coating" step-by-step construction, the integrated board reduces the construction period by more than 60%, achieving the completion of the entire exterior wall construction in 5-8 days without being affected by rainy season and low temperature, and can be operated throughout the year.

At the policy level, Linyi City will fully implement the mandatory application of A-level integrated boards from 2025, and provide up to 30% material purchase subsidies. In 2026, the "Integrated Acceptance System for External Wall Insulation and Decoration" will be launched, and projects that do not use integrated panels will not pass the completion acceptance. Construction supervision has been integrated into the "Smart Construction Site" platform, with real-time monitoring of key indicators such as bonding area and anchoring quantity.

The current construction risks mainly stem from insufficient anchoring and lack of interface treatment, which accounts for 80% of detachment accidents. The key to prevention and control lies in: the base layer must be coated with interface agent, with a bonding area of ≥ 40%, expansion joints should be set every 6 meters, with a joint width of ≥ 10mm, and ordinary latex paint is strictly prohibited from being used on the surface. The future trend is evolving towards inorganic lightweight aggregate core materials and vacuum insulation panels (VIP), promoting thinner, lighter, and more energy-efficient systems.

As the infrastructure for the construction of green and low-carbon cities, choosing a compliant integrated board is not only a technological upgrade, but also a long-term commitment to safety, durability, and policy compliance.
